A setback in men’s intercollegiate water polo as Notre Dame College of Ohio has abruptly abandoned its 2014 season according to the Collegiate Water Polo Association. The Falcons completed their 2013 season with a 12-14 record. The program began competing in 2010 and entered its first CWPA Southern Championships in 2011. The fate of the women’s program remains unclear.
College officials had not yet responded to an email request for more information when this item was posted.
