The jumble among the Big Four continues. UCLA, as expected, was rewarded for last Thursday’s home-pool defeat of Stanford with a return to the CWPA’s top spot for varsity men in their week 8, October 29 poll. Stanford dropped one position to second bumping USC to third.

The Trojans and Bruins will joust in a Pac-12 Network televised match on Sunday. The winner could well be poised to maintain or take the top spot in the week 9 poll.

Cal remains in fourth followed by Long Beach State and UC San Diego filled the fifth and sixth spots followed by UC Santa Barbara, Pacific, Princeton and UC Irvine.

Bucknell shot all the way to the 12th position after being unranked in week 7. The Bison went undefeated at the Santa Clara Rodeo tournament with wins over UC Davis, Air Force, Fresno Pacific, Cal Baptist, and the host Broncos.

Whittier remains atop the Division III rankings. Princeton continues to top the CWPA Conference table.
