
The pinnacle of US interscholastic water polo occurs this week with over 20 prep championships remaining in California, AND the key season-ending tournaments for varsity intercollegiate men. Four conferences get automatic bids to the NCAA Championship field and each will hold their title matches this Sunday. Find out more about each via the links below.
- UC San Diego gets the number one seed for the Western Water Polo Association Championships held at Loyola Marymount beginning on Friday.
- Defending champs Whittier are seeded first in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament and open against the winner of the CalTech vs. Occidental play-in game on Friday morning.
- Fourth seeded Long Beach State will host the premier Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championship. UCLA earned the top seed and awaits the winner of the UC Santa Barbara vs. Pacific play-in.
- Navy is home to the Collegiate Water Polo Association Championship, which will stream all the matches live. Princeton is the top ranked squad in the conference and will play the winner of Johns Hopkins vs. MIT in their opener.
