The girls of Kamehameha have proven themselves near equals to Hawaiian powerhouse Punahou throughout the 2015 season. So they were again in a defensive struggle with the favorites on Saturday at the HHSAA State Championship where they fell by a 4-2 score. Punahou continues its dominance of the sport on the islands with their eighth consecutive state title.
