Water Polo Begins 2015 Campaign on Saturday – Navysports.com

As in previous years the ribbon is cut on this fall’s varsity water polo season with the Navy Open tournament in Annapolis, MD.  The Midshipmen enter their second season under coach Mladen Stanicic and look to re-emerge as the best in the East.

A veteran-laden roster will lead the Navy water polo team into action this season as second-year head coach Mladen Stanicic and the Mids will face a challenging 21-game regular season schedule in hopes of collecting its 10th CWPA Championship title and an automatic bid into the 2015 NCAA Championship tournament.
