I’ve started at Twitter account (twitter.com/totalwaterpolo) where I try to re-post news, features, scores and more about water polo throughout the US. And I will also try to make this site a source for results that are important to the nationwide water polo fan base.

Water polo is an international sport. And the US had a spectacular 2008 and 2009 with excellent results. But the rosters remain almost entirely Californian, which is completely natural, in my opinion. But technology can and will play a role in expanding the footprint of the sport in the US, and is a healthy way to expand the sport beyond the Golden State in a meaningful way. I’d like to play at least a small part in increasing the exposure of programs and talented players from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Illinois, Texas, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Florida…you get the idea. So please do follow me/add me in Twitter, and email me any stories or features you think should be highlighted.
More to come…
