Pepperdine’s early season struggles continue as the 12th ranked Waves could not hold off local rivals, 13th ranked LMU, in a home pool match on Friday. The Lions won the game 15-13. Pepperdine started the season with two one-goal victories over lower ranked Concordia and Whittier before falling by six to UC Santa Barbara on Thursday.
