UCLA maintained it’s top ranking followed by Stanford and USC in the CWPA week 9 varsity poll. Long Beach State was rewarded for its impressive two-goal win over Cal at Berkeley on Sunday with a rise to the fourth spot. The 49ers will travel to No. 6 UC San Diego on Thursday and then hosts USC in what could be a telling match for The Beach.
Cal dropped a spot to fifth; Pacific, Santa Barbara, Princeton and Pepperdine round out the top 10.
Whittier remains atop the Division III rankings. Princeton continues to rule the CWPA Conference table.
