AGOURA, CA – Agoura High School boys’ coach Dusty Litvak has left the program to take a position as assistant to men’s head coach Adam Wright at UCLA. Wright was forced to look for a new deputy once former assistant Dan Leyson left the Bruins to take the men’s head coaching position at UC Davis in late May. Litvak, also a Los Angeles Water Polo Club coach, led the Chargers to three consecutive CIF-SS championships including a Division II title in 2012. He briefly left Agoura in July 2011 to assist Jovan Vavic at USC, but returned only two months later and subsequently won a second section title.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – After six years at the helm of Marist College’s women’s team, Ashleigh Huckins has resigned. The coach won three consecutive MAAC championships beginning in 2008 and leaves the Red Foxes with an overall record of 129-92.

BATON ROUGE, LA – Kingwood (TX) High grad Tony Frey and former Cal goalkeeper Russel Bernstein were featured in a Fox 44 news report on the recently formed Louisiana State University water polo club. The team is attempting to draw players both from the school, and lure local youth swimmers in to the game. Bernstein serves as the volunteer coach.

LUXEMBOURG – The LEN Final Four Championship garnered impressive online viewership according to a tweet from sports writer Tim Hartog. No word yet from LEN about the share of American spectators.

CHELYABINSK, RUSSIA – The USA Senior Men’s Team will again be featured live via stream on USAWaterpolo.org early Sunday morning. Their third-place match against Montenegro is scheduled to begin at 7.30AM Eastern Daylight Time.
