Croatia over USA Men in Final World League Warmup – USA Water Polo

Rijeka, Croatia – June 20 – The USA Men’s Senior National Team wrapped up preparation for the FINA World League Super Final with a 12-9 loss to Croatia on Saturday in Croatia. Tony Azevedo (Long Beach, CA/Stanford/NYAC) and Bret Bonanni (Huntington Beach, CA/Stanford/Stanford) scored two goals each in the loss while McQuin Baron (North Tustin, CA/USC/Regency) and Merrill Moses (Palos Verdes, CA/Pepperdine/NYAC) combined in net for four saves. Team USA now heads to Bergamo, Italy to begin competition at the FINA World League Super on Tuesday with an opening match against Serbia.
